St.Pierre-la-Mer Kitezone where they operate is a wide strip of sandy Mediterranean
beach beach used only for the sport of kitesurfing. Now in its 5th year the unique
zone aims to make kitesurfing easier and more enjoyable for both local and visiting
people.
There is plenty
of space to roll out your lines, launch and land your kite and ride on the water
without interference of others. The zone offers: reliable wind all year round,
a wide strip of sandy beach (300m) closed-off solely for the use of kitesurfers,
a club-house with toilets, warm showers and refreshments, safety cover, the latest
equipment, IKO courses for all levels - Beginners Intermediates Advanced - in
English. Also on offer: Kite buggy - close to the centre, on the saltpans, there
is plenty of space to try out a buggy pulled by a small kite.
